Published in 1998 by Windrush Press, England and St Martin's Press USA and made to a documentary film for Discovery Channel "Atlantis in the Andes"

"Atlantis: the Andes Solution" put forward the proposal that the lost continent of Atlantis was in fact, South America and the part which sank, and which contained the lost city of Atlantis, was a small volcanic island which sank into the inland sea of Lake Poopo on the Bolivian Altiplano.

Atlantis was a continent the size of "Libya and Asia combined", it lay "in front of" or "opposite" the Pillars of Hercules (Strait of Gibraltar) and from it one could cross via smaller islands "to the opposite continent", seen here as Asia.
